Christmas Farm & Zoo Guided Tours
Perfect for School-aged children (4+). Our most popular Christmas package has everything for a great day out! School groups can get involved in a guided tour around the farm to meet and feed our lovely animals including time with newborn lambs and a range of our very special Christmas animals! The day also includes our Santa-Sleigh experience!
You’ll meet a mixture of friendly farm animals as well as our amazing range of exotic zoo animals too.
You will be allocated your own space to store your lunches and enjoy in the heated indoor barn during the day, before you head out again to carry on your interactive adventure.
Your farm guide will then lead you to the Christmas Barn where the school children will settle into a sled for story time with the man himself; Santa Claus.
Every child will leave with a wrapped gift (activity book) to make sure they remember their day full of amazing animals and Christmas magic.

The Risk assessment for Guided Visits is also available to download below. We also offer a free preliminary visit pass to each school/organisation if you wish to send some staff members to the farm before the day.
This is a great chance to complete your own risk assessments and ask any questions about the visit. This will be offered to you on booking.
Plan your Day!
Your group will arrive at the farm and be greeted by our WPFZ guides, who will be ready with a bucket of food to kick start your day!
They will take your group to their designated indoor eating space to drop off any bags before getting started for the day. Your designated tour guide will give all children a welcome talk to prepare them for what’s to come.
Your tour guide will take you along our Field Walk to meet lots of farmyard animals! They will provide a bucket of food for children and adults to share and feed our animals as they walk around!
Your WPFZ guide will take you for lunch in our heated indoor barn. After lunch, it is time to meet some of Christmas animals up close in the Encounter room. Your guide will introduce the group to a selection of animals, and give them all the insider knowledge!
Included in your Christmas guided experience, your group will enjoy a private Santa-Sleigh experience, where the children will sit in their own sleighs, listen to Santa read a special Christmas story and grab a group photo with the man himself! All children will leave with a wrapped activity book to take home
There are lots of other areas that our guides will take you to visit on your school trip! This includes: Reptiles of the World, Go Active Falconry Centre, The Nocturnal Room, Meerkat enclosures, Porcupine and more!
With lots of photo opportunities throughout the day, as well as animal interactions and learning outside the classroom. Our School Visits are a fabulous day our for all ages!
