Take a look at our Self-Led Group booking. Get stuck in to a day of farm-fun with your group. Head around the farm at your own pace, and then head to meet a member of the WPF team for an educational workshop at pre-arranged time!
Self-Led Farm Tour
Self-led farm tours are perfect for Schools and other organised groups who like to go at different paces. In this package your group will have admission to the farm, as well as some animal food to feed the animals. You will also be provided with a heated indoor space to eat your lunch and leave bags.
You are then free to take your group or groups, around the farm at your own pace where you can choose if you want to see any of the daily timetabled events throughout the day, meet our friendly animals or enjoy our indoor and outdoor play areas. Meet some of our rare-breed sheep and goats, as well as our crocodiles in Reptiles of the World!
Included is your own 30 minute animal based workshop where you will meet up
with a keeper at a pre-arranged time. Additional workshops can also be added to your day.
Tractor & Trailer rides are available at £1.50 per person (seasonal & weather permitting).
Plan your Day!
When your group arrives on the day, a member of the White Post Farm & Zoo team will greet the leaders to explain the format of the day. They will organise scheduled times for your chosen workshops & lunch time and location. They will also provide you with a WPFZ Map and an animal timetable of activities your group can free-flow to throughout the day.
After this, your group can go over to the lunch barn to drop of any bags, before starting your day of animal-filled fun! After this, your group can enjoy free-flow time around the farm & zoo, feeding the animals and exploring enclosures.
You will meet at a set time for your animal workshop with a keeper, you can explore our different workshops using the buttons above.
This package is the perfect option for those who explore at different paces and prefer a more free-flowing experience.
